Wildflower Nursery Branding
Wildflower Nursery is a small business based in a charming old barn, specialising in native Australian plants alongside a thoughtfully curated gift shop featuring artisan-made products.
The brief was to create a logo that reflected the owner's passion for native flora and their commitment to restoring biodiversity in Australian backyards.
The final identity features a simple, slightly ragged hand-drawn illustration of a banksia, complemented by blue gum flowers and golden wattle blossoms. The colour palette draws inspiration from the Australian bush, incorporating pale eucalyptus, burnt orange, yellow, moss, and olive green. A rustic display typeface was selected for "Wildflower" to evoke warmth and character, while the clean, modern Avenir typeface provides balance for "Nursery."
The result is a distinctive and approachable brand identity with an authentic Australian bush aesthetic.
