Songs of stone and water
A series of prints inspired by Coastal landscape of South East Queensland, Australia.
Series in progress
Captivated by scenery of Sunshine Coast I created Songs ofStone and Water series.

In my landscapes I use photos, painting and drawing to digitally create composite scenes. Layered with semi-abstract ephemeral floating forms they drift between the fields of photography and painting.

Compositions are punctuated with small lines and shapes in vibrant colours reminiscing scattered shells, sticks and pebbles one can find during long walks along the beach.

I do not try to recreate the scene, rather try to find a poetry of forms, colours, rhythms it evokes in me.
